inside scoop

thank you for all your congratulations!

i'm racing around trying to pack us all up for a week away, but wanted to share this before we left - a short clip of when we told the kids the baby news a few weeks ago.

it's kinda chaotic and jumbled, so view at your own discretion :)

a few things you should know before viewing:

*i have food in my mouth at the start (i know, monkey see...)
*we told the kids we had a surprise for them and they had to close their eyes. they assume it's lollies so hold out their hands also.
* a scan/sono photo of #5 was the "someone" they were meeting.

ok, i'm outta here...see you NEXT WEEK!!!
(don't do anything too cool without me!)

  14. Haha, cutest thing ever!!!! Love that there was a disappointed pause when they realised that there were no lollies! And that Jada was quietly trying to contain her desperate hope that it would be a sister! And that Danny was the first to get excited, haha!!!! What a classic video, great one for the memory box!

We are trying for number six and as much as we don't mind what we have, giving a sister to our only girl would be awesome!

Love hearing those gorgeous NZ accents - my partner is from NZ and hearing the accents remind me of how much I love being there and miss it :) Hey, by the way, I heard about your blog through Pip's blog and I am very glad it was mentioned and that I found it because yours is also just as lovely!
