a documented first outing

today was the first time:
:: i've been outside the front gate for 3 weeks.
::Sawyer has been in a car
::Sawyer has been outside of our home!
::there have been 5 of my own kids in our car
(and yes, it takes approximately 5 hours to get them all in and buckled. urgh.)

i was SO nervous, but we survived!

(all photos by Jada (8) except the ones she is in)

  12. Go Jada. I love the yellow wall. Mental Note take the camera everywhere. Looks like you all had more fun at Pak n Save than me today. Two screaming children for most of it and then my card got declined. It's funny now. The nicest thing was the trolley man who offered to push my trolley to the car as I was holding one screaming child and juggling handbag etc. Anyways I'm loving seeing sawyer pics. Thank you for sharing.

  19. Good work. I find it hard enough getting out the house with 3 let alone 5! Don't you love it how the big siblings love entertaining baby in the car!

  20. That first outing is always so nerve racking isn't it? And I can only speak for three kids. Those baby wraps are wonderful and I still use my hug-a-bub for Violet occasionally. She loved the wrap and later the sling. You are looking great, by the way!
