hello! the WW theme for this month is handmade so...
here's a restyle i did this week using a dress and striped top (both thrifted) in the same way as this dress.
while i liked it as a dress, my 'point-of-bust' was never gonna be where it was supposed to be (the dotted white line is where the tie belt was. mmhmmm...)
initially i was concerned about making this high waisted having a post-baby belly. turns out i should've been more concerned about the post-baby twins. woah~! yeah, will probably wait a bit before wearing this out in public...i wouldn't want any Fonterra shareholders to get nervous about the competition. /wink.
i added an adjustable (positive thinking!) belt with a bow to cover the seam where i joined the top to the skirt.

ReplyDeleteI love so many things about this post! great dress, great doll, and one hot mama!
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks amazing! You must manage time really well. I only have one baby and never seem to find the time to make anything.
ReplyDeleteAhh lady did you just have a baby? You look amazing! Such a great restyle too :)
ReplyDeleteWoah dee - you are gorgeous! Looking absolutely beautiful in these shots. I've lived in high-waisted skirts since I had Poet; they've made me feel wonderfully feminine and with a singlet/tee on top it's an easy breastfeeding outfit. As for those dolls....swoon! x
ReplyDeleteLook at you! You had a baby a month ago! Seriously??? You look amazing. Jxx
ReplyDeleteYou are one clever cookie Mrs Rolston... not quite sure how you manage to do everything though!! You look just fab too!! xxx
